What You’ll do (The role)

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the company's products, services, or projects. It involves strategic planning, cross-departmental coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure that all aspects of the delivery process align with the company's goals and objectives.

This is a pivotal role in steering the company's strategic direction through the effective management and delivery of complex programs and initiatives. It is responsible for integrating people, processes, and technology across various departments to achieve the company's strategic objectives. It requires close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, including customers, internal teams, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

· Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for delivering projects and programs that support the company's overall objectives. Ensure these plans are aligned with the company's vision, mission, and goals.

· Program Management: Oversee the portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects.

· Cross-Departmental Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across different departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals. Work closely with department heads to integrate project initiatives with business operations.

· Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, senior management, and external partners. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications.

· Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

· Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery. Implement risk management plans to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

· Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of technology solutions that support project delivery and operational efficiency. Stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate them into delivery strategies as appropriate.

· Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for project delivery, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and financial objectives are met.

 

Who we’re looking for

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.

· Extensive experience in project or program management, preferably in a related industry.

· Proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects and programs

· Excellent communication

· Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.

· Deep understanding of project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

· Experience in stakeholder management and building relationships at all levels within an organisation.
