What You’ll do 
To generate new business, develop solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects and carry out supplementary tasks to ensure that the Business Development team reach their set targets.  
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
•    To originate, develop and optimise solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects
•    To manage the development of a portfolio of in-house developed, introduced and/or acquired projects from initiation to financial close
•    To develop new business opportunities
•    To develop strong working relationships and liaise closely with other business divisions including engineering, planning, grid, energy markets, delivery, legal and finance to assist in the development of projects
•    To support bids for offtake and revenue support contracts
•    To assist other developers by carrying out supporting activities when needed.
•    To understand and develop company strategies and develop business and business practices accordingly.
•    To work with the Development team and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.

In addition, the Employee will perform such other duties, appropriate to the position as the Company may from time to time require.

Who we’re looking for      

KNOWLEDGE 
•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
•    Understanding of renewables industry, energy and environmental issues
•    Technical understanding of solar, wind and BESS development and construction
•    Understanding of environmental planning constraints
•    Core capabilities in commercial activities including strategy, financial models, funding arrangements and legals
•    Experience in tendering for offtake and revenue contracts
•    Varied experience in private and public sector and international business 
•    External stakeholder engagement capability
•    Strong project management capability

EXPERIENCE 
•    A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
•    Experience managing renewable energy development projects from initiation to financial close

•    Team working skills
•    B2B and B2C engagement
•    Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn swiftly
•    Problem solving and proactive attitude
•    Detailed oriented and well organised
•    Able to work efficiently and effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines
•    Fluency in English is essential
•    Process oriented 
•    Strong technical IT skills (Excel, PowerBI, etc.) 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
•    Driver’s License
