Valuation Manager/Senior Manager, Structured Finance

What You’ll do 
The Structured Finance team is committed to helping Lightsource bp finance and commercialize 25GW by 2025 having helped finance approximately 3.5 GW and raise $4.2 billion of debt and tax equity financing in the USA since 2019. To support our mandate, our team is looking for a highly motivated and analytical candidate who has a strong interest in joining a dynamic and high performing team to capitalize on substantial deal flow for a top tier platform in the U.S. This position will support the Valuation Director in all technical aspects of project finance modeling across the Structured Finance function.
Duties and Responsibilities
•    Assist the Valuation Director with continuous improvement and development of the LSbp master financial model, incorporating feedback from the deal execution staff with respect to new functionality and market trends.
•    Be part of an elite group that provides modeling support to the deal teams as they negotiate and execute financial transactions.
•    Audit complicated financial models, explain results and perform variance analysis.
•    Support Business Development with their pricing activities by assisting them in the use of the LSbp financial model and review their results.
•    Provide training to the rest of the team on various topics.
•    Build ad hoc analytical tools as needed.
Who we’re looking for   

Knowledge
•    Advanced Excel financial modelling skills, including VBA.
•    Detailed technical understanding of renewable energy tax equity and debt financing structures
•    Advanced accounting and tax acumen
•    Outstanding analytical skills
Qualifications 
•    Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field. MBA or CFA is beneficial.
Experience 
•    4-6 years renewable energy project finance experience, with direct work experience in financial modeling, tax equity and debt structuring, and accounting
•    Successful track record of executing tax equity and debt transactions from beginning to end
