What You’ll do (the role)
Summary
The role will deal daily with several areas within the company, being a business partner to all departments and communicating with external providers and suppliers. You will reconcile bank and accounting transactions, ensuring account coding and record keeping, as well as making sure all helping with legal and statutory obligations for Finance. You will play a major role in organizing and maintaining data for Reporting and Auditing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Bank communication relationship
- Foreign exchange closing and control;
- Registration of Foreign Capital Loan Agreements or other receivables and payables in Central Bank (BACEN);
- Accounts payable and receivable control,;
- Support with contracts and Loan agreement control
- Codes invoices with accounting account numbers according to distribution in the general ledger;
- On a weekly basis, reviews payments to be released in the bank
- Generates, verifies, and maintains accounts payable voucher reports, open/aging reports, disbursement reports, and journals;
- Generates Cashflow reports;
- Interacts with external provider regard to payment status of invoices.
- Ensures the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, financing, auditing, and tax purposes
- Performs other accounting duties as requested by the Controller;
- Process Improvement: Suggesting and implementing better reports and processes within the Finance Area
- Assists with quarterly external audit

- Basic bookkeeping Skills
- General understanding of Treasury and Taxes
- Data maintenance and organization
Qualifications
- A degree in the following subject is preferrable: Accounting, Business or Finance
Experience
- Previous experience in Corporate Treasury or Transactional Department Experience
