What you’ll do (the role)
The Summer Internship program is twelve weeks long and will run from June 1st 2026 to August 31st 2026. Interns will be paid 1.500€ brut/month. This is a hybrid role, and the trainee must be able to work from our office in Madrid at least 3 days per week.
Summary
We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented intern ready to make an impact on our Indirect Procurement team. If you're curious about how businesses manage spending, enjoy working with data, and want to learn from experienced procurement professionals, this role is for you.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of business categories including IT, professional services, travel & entertainment, tax compliance, and real estate optimization giving you a well-rounded view of how procurement operates at scale within a global renewable energy company.
Responsibilities of the Role
As an intern, you'll work alongside our Indirect Procurement team to help drive real business impact. You'll contribute to three key areas:
- Process & Compliance
- Monitor procurement processes, track performance metrics, and ensure data accuracy to support compliance and operational efficiency
- Help roll out new procurement tools that improve process visibility, efficiency and capability
- Strategic Support
- Collaborate with Category Managers to align supplier choices and sourcing strategies with LSbp's business goals
- Supplier & Cost Management
- Map our supplier network across our indirect categories to understand our full supplier landscape
- Identify consolidation opportunities for our supplier list and reduce complexity
- Support sourcing activities by assisting in the preparation and execution of Request For Proposals (RFPs) in line with company policies
- Contribute to analytical reports that highlight cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance insights and governance improvements.

Experience & Knowledge Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken is mandatory)
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
