  • Translate regulatory developments into actionable development strategies/ recommendations.
  • Identify regulatory pathways to optimize grid access, curtailment exposure, and connection costs.
  • Provide regulatory assessment and technical advice in terms of grid compliance.
  • Support connection applications discussions, permitting and technical compliance assurance with TSOs/DSOs.

Congestion Analysis & Opportunity Identification

  • Early identification of high-potential grid zones, priority areas and ancillary services’ needs.
  • Analyse transmission and distribution network congestion patterns and constraints.
  • Identify underutilized nodes, flexible connection points, and grid reinforcements plans.
  • Develop strategies for co-locating, resizing, or hybridizing projects to mitigate congestion risk.
  • Assess redispatch, curtailment, and congestion management impacts on project economics.
  • Prepare curtailment analysis market insights and capacity hosting maps.

Grid Modelling & Artificial Intelligence

  • Build and maintain grid modelling tool strategic initiative according to the priority country plan.
  • Create future grid scenarios incorporating renewable build-out, storage, and demand growth, using open data and artificial intelligence assistance with coding.
  • Perform electricity system simulations with sensitivity indices and stochastic simulations.

Project De-risking & Portfolio Optimization

  • Improve project IRRs through congestion mitigation strategies, siting and revenue optimisation.
  • Reduce and quantify grid-related risks (connection reforms, connection delays, reinforcement costs, curtailment exposure).
  • Propose technical and regulatory mitigation measures (grid services, phased connections, flexible operation, alternative connection processes, BESS sizing and strategy).
  • Support investment decisions with grid intelligence and scenario modelling.
  • Assess and ensure compliance with the requirements established in the Grid Code from early stages to commissioning stage to achieve grid operations notifications from TSOs/DSOs.
  • Evaluate opportunities for new connections or project enhancements based on knowledge of local grid capacity and system constraints.
  • Review technical reports, recommend actionable solutions, and communicate findings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
