What You’ll Do (The Role)

 

Summary

 

As Senior FP&A Manager your role will support the performance management agenda for LSbp senior leadership to provide accurate and enhanced information in support of business objectives. You'll drive delivery of monthly performance reporting and annual budgeting. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration to enhance performance visibility, challenge business assumptions, and drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion the continuous improvement philosophy within FP&A; identify efficiencies and lead improvement workstreams using a data-led approach
  • Monthly Performance Management: Ensure standardised, aligned performance reporting across regions; support business leaders with analytics and visibility of performance; drive consistency in reporting outputs
  • Drive process enhancements through core FP&A activities utilising PowerSuite, DataLake and proactively taking the lead to identify and deliver change with support from wider team where needed delivering systemisation and automation of Group FP&A processes
  • Portfolio & Analysis: Lead challenge and review of business submissions within core FP&A processes, ensuring value drivers are clearly articulated.; assess financial performance against plan and support deep-dive analysis of key metrics ·
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with regional finance teams and senior executives; drive accountability for financial performance and reporting accuracy across the global organisation
  • Act as liaison and core point of contact with bp PPM to ensure full link with deliverables due to bp, taking ownership of quarterly actuals reporting

 

Who we’re looking for

 

Experience

 

  • Professional Qualification: Qualified ACCA, ACMA, ACA, or equivalent with 5–7+ years post-qualified experience
  • FP&A Background: Demonstrated experience in FP&A, financial planning, group consolidation, and management reporting within complex organisations
  • Systems Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP (including S/4HANA), d/EPM, Workday and Microsoft Power suite (Power BI, Power Query) ·
  • Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of IFRS and modern accounting standards ·
  • Renewable Energy: Previous experience in renewable energy or related sectors preferred

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels, from board to operational teams ·
  • Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills; ability to distil complex data into clear insights · Strong collaborative, can-do attitude with proven ability to work across functional boundaries ·
  • Self-starter with ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and delivering enhanced analytics and insights
