What you’ll do (the role)         

LSbp is looking for someone to join the EMEA team to help drive the next phase of our growth and global expansion.

As an Associate in the Business Operations team, you will be a key member of the EMEA organisation and work closely with the global CTO organisation. The Business Operations team focuses on enhancing the ways of working in the EMEA business by collaborating closely with the COO of EMEA, the Global Transformation Office, Regional Department Directors, Country teams, the central Finance and Strategy teams and the broader Region.

You will have the opportunity to obtain a deep commercial and financial understanding of renewable development and construction activities, gain valuable insight into decision making and management of a high-growth renewables business, alongside significant exposure to senior management.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in our existing ways of working, and work with all relevant teams to define and implement improved processes, taking ownership of end-to-end delivery of continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Drive standardisation within global frameworks where it makes sense, and to support the growth of the business: this includes, as a minimum, leading supportingon  the roll-out of a Databook process and a Gatekeeping process in the region;
  • Continue to enhance the functionality and drive adoption of our existing development system ‘Solaris’; 
  • Lead and support rollouts of new APACEMEA-related systems, potentially including but not limited to Salesforce, Pandell, IFS and SAP
  • Work cross-functionally to drive high-priority global transformation initiatives, collaborating closely with the Global Transformation Management Office within the CTO organisation
  • Be the Document Management Representative and Data Steward for APAC, supporting the internal Document Management Representative and Data Stuart for EMEA as well as the global Document Management and Data Governance teams on key global and APACEMEA-only initiatives
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between teams and focus on improving how we cascade information to all members in the APAC EMEA region

 

Who we’re looking for              

Knowledge/ Experience

  • BA or equivalent required; a degree in Engineering or the Sciences would be advantageous; Masters preferred
  • 2 years professional experience in Operations, Project Management or Business Management function
  • Knowledge of the energy / renewables industry is preferred
  • Strong interest in solar PV, renewables and the energy transition
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
