What you’ll do (the role)          




LSbp has entered the market in France to take part of the country ambition to install 100 GW of solar PV by 2050. A team of 20 people has been hired in 2022 - to develop ground mounted utility scale PV projects with the objective of having a pipeline of 1 GW by 2026. To reach this target, LSbp France will originate its own pipe of projects, co-develop projects with partners looking forward to be supported by a major international developer, and acquire projects at various stage of developments. We are looking to hire experienced solar people having an entrepreneurial mindset to join this new exciting venture.


As Responsable regional, you will be responsible for defining, in agreement with the Director of Development France, the solar PV development strategy in France and ensure its proper implementation in your egion in accordance with the objectives set.


This position will play a huge part in this ambition, generating opportunities and managing the development of Large-Scale Solar projects in the Grand Est region of France.


Duties & responsibilities


  • Securing land, as well as to identify, evaluate and propose acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Managing a team of land prospector and project developers in your region
  • Participating in the recruitment of teams
  • Managing the development in the allocated territory the portfolio of projects of large-scale ground mounted power Solar farms: from the identification of the sites until the obtaining of the building permit purged of all recourse
  • Responsible for monitoring and steering responses to calls for expressions of interest (EOI) made by communities or private individuals in the dedicated region.
  • Identify and analyse opportunities for the acquisition of photovoltaic projects
  • Identify and manage technical and legal consultants and work closely with internal support functions (planning, PPA, BE, purchasing, networks, production, etc.).


Who we’re looking for


Experience & Knowledge


  • Experience of similar position delivering large scale solar projects in France or Experience as a project developer - having originated projects in France from scratch (securing land) and developed the project until the building permit has been obtained
  • Extensive knowledge of the market in France
  • Driving strategic development on behalf of a fast-growing market leading organization
  • Spoken and written French
  • Functional English




  • Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant field, strongly preferred, preferably with some financial qualifications or training
