Asset Manager

What You’ll do 
Integral daily management of the Lightsource bp large-scale solar plants in the USA, ensuring best practice for safety, quality, and environmental performance, whilst enhancing the overall returns and value of each project and complying with all of the applicable contractual agreements.
Duties and Responsibilities
General management requirements 
•    Contribute to develop policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative and contract requirements are fulfilled 
•    Maximize total return for each asset through the analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance 
•    Establish a collaborative relationship with the O&M contractor with the aim of maximizing the safe asset performance and operation

Daily Asset Management operation 
•    Manage day to day operations of the Asset Management organization providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards 
•    Review and manage all SPVs contracts for SPVs obligations and other contract party respectively, including insurance

Performance and monitoring 
•    Performance review of the sites as well as analysis of potential optimisation projects/actions 
•    Regular review of site performance on monitoring platform 
•    Monitor and control all financial budgets 
•    Monthly review of operational and financial KPIs, identification of improvement opportunities 
•    Support Financial manager with analysis of P&L variance and CF Forecast and Solar plants Budget
•    Preparation of stakeholders reporting
•    Responsible of managing the sub-portfolio from commercial, financial and technical perspective; dealing and managing internal and external stakeholders including external clients

Contract management
•    Oversee main contractors to ensure compliance with relevant obligations
•    Assist Energy Sales/Power Marketing team with merchant Day Ahead and Real Time electricity sales optimization strategy, REC management, and Capacity Market participation 
•    Monitor and influence all maintenance and operations and maintenance activities for the assets
•    Maintain and grow good relations with all contract parties. Manage and co-ordinate potential contract modifications
•    Accounting an A/P
•    Invoice collection sign off
•    Recommendation on required unbudgeted cost
•    Facilitate hand-off from project management to operational management
•    Solar Companies project documentation management
•    Develop compliance calendar, manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities
Who we’re looking for   

•    Development and assets management experience in solar PV and wind energy in international and global environment 

•    Engineering MSc or Finance/Business Admin MSc is a requirement
•    3-5 years of experience in the role preferably in the USA market
•    The ideal candidate worked for financial investors active in the renewable space internationally, and IPP or a vertically integrated developer
