This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week in one of the following locations:

Role Summary
As a Senior Geospatial Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting renewable energy project development across the United States. You will provide advanced geospatial analysis, spatial data management, and visualization that supports projects throughout the full lifecycle—from initial site feasibility and due diligence through engineering design, construction, and operations.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including development, engineering, permitting, land, and construction, ensuring geospatial insights inform key project decisions. This role also contributes to global geospatial initiatives and drives innovation in how spatial technologies are used across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Geospatial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct geospatial analysis supporting renewable energy projects, including site selection, environmental assessment, engineering design, construction monitoring, and operational support.
- Perform constraints analysis, greenfield project analysis, and M&A due diligence.
- Produce high‑quality maps, dashboards, reports, and visual presentations to communicate spatial insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations that support risk management and operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain automated geospatial analysis workflows and procedures.
- Build and maintain web-based GIS applications and visualizations.
- Support global geospatial initiatives and lead select global GIS projects.
Data Management & Integration
- Manage, clean, and maintain geospatial datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Integrate spatial data from internal systems, external providers, and survey sources.
- Manage enterprise GIS databases and ensure proper data governance, security, and organization.
- Develop automated data pipelines and workflows.
- Maintain compliance with data standards and metadata protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Translate complex spatial analysis into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to teams utilizing enterprise GIS tools and systems.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable geospatial solutions.
Technology & Innovation
- Collaborate with regional and global GIS teams to develop innovative geospatial tools and solutions.
- Drive adoption of modern spatial technologies and cloud-based GIS solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and data accessibility.
Training & Enablement
- Provide training and guidance on GIS tools and systems for regional teams.
- Promote GIS best practices and standards across the organization.
Required Experience
- 4+ years of experience in geospatial analysis, GIS, or a related field.
- Significant experience supporting engineering projects through design, construction, and operations.
- Experience working with survey-grade data such as ALTA surveys, hydrology studies, and engineering datasets.
- Strong background in GIS, remote sensing, geospatial modeling, and spatial data analysis.
- Experience working with multiple geospatial data formats and large datasets.
- Experience implementing geospatial data management standards and governance.
- Experience building web-based GIS visualizations and applications.
- Experience with cloud-based geospatial solutions is a plus.
Skills & Technical Competencies
- Advanced proficiency with:
- ArcGIS Pro
- ArcSDE
- Portal for ArcGIS
- Knowledge of renewable energy project development and the role of GIS across the project lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of coordinate reference systems and spatial transformations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Highly organized with strong data management and analytical skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve insights, automate workflows, and streamline processes.

We offer
- Competitive compensation: $115,000 to $125,000 annually plus a 15% annual bonus.
