Global Quality Intern (Summer Internship)
Locations: Austin, TX • Denver, CO • San Francisco, CA
Duration: Early June – Mid-August (~10 weeks)
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Pay: $20/hour
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — at least 3 days per week onsite and up to 2 days remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Global Quality Intern to support our Quality team during the summer internship program. This role provides hands-on exposure to quality management practices in a growing renewable energy organization. The intern will assist with data analysis, quality audits, training initiatives, and process improvement efforts while working closely with experienced Quality professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in engineering, quality management, data analysis, and operational excellence to gain practical experience supporting quality programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with data collection, organization, and cleanup to support reporting on quality metrics
- Support quality audits and inspections to identify workmanship or equipment issues
- Help the team investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop preventative actions
- Assist with organizing and delivering quality training sessions and workshops for employees and contractors
- Support the development and improvement of quality procedures, documentation, and training materials
- Contribute to special projects and research initiatives led by Quality Managers to advance company-wide quality goals
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience collecting, organizing, and working with data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of statistics
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (such as 5 Whys) is a plus
- Coursework or certifications related to quality management principles are beneficial
