Agrivoltaics & Land Management Intern (Environmental Affairs) — Summer 2026

We’re seeking an Environmental Affairs Intern to join our U.S. team for a 10‑week summer internship (June–August) supporting agrivoltaics, vegetation management, and habitat restoration initiatives across our solar projects.

This role is ideal for students interested in range management, horticulture, habitat restoration, and sustainable land use on renewable energy sites.

Locations: Austin, TX | Denver, CO | San Francisco, CA
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Pay: $20/hour
Travel: Must be willing to travel to project sites to support agrivoltaics initiatives

What You’ll Do

  • Support development of native seed mixes for solar sites during pre‑ and post‑construction phases
  • Assist with invasive plant species management research and guidance
  • Research agrivoltaics trends and competing solar projects across the U.S.
  • Explore innovative land-use concepts such as pastured poultry at solar facilities
  • Research agricultural technologies suitable for utility-scale solar projects
  • Help develop a U.S. Invasive Plant Species Management Manual
  • Prepare research summaries and presentations for internal teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Environmental Science, Range Management, Wildlife Management, Biology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of native vegetation management, habitat restoration, or invasive species control
  • Interest in agrivoltaics and sustainable land use in renewable energy
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and cross‑functional teams

This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of renewable energy, agriculture, and ecological stewardship, working alongside environmental and asset management professionals.
